Hi there! Thank you for visiting my website. Please allow me to introduce myself:
I am a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Edinburgh Business School.
My topical research centers on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability issues in the context of family businesses, new ventures, and otherwise privately-held SMEs. I also regularly and increasingly study scientific norms and practices in my own and related fields, with a particular attention for the causes and consequences of researchers’ biases and the incentive structures that facilitate them.
Next to doing research, I enjoy teaching, reading, history, hiking, running, music, sarcasm, and most of all riding my bicycle up and down the beautiful hills surrounding my current home.
Please feel invited to contact me in case you are interested in any of my activities, have a research idea that might be worth exploring together, or simply want to join for a bike ride 🙂
Thanks!
Jasper
